Under the leadership of Paul Sauvé, entrepreneur and farmer with deep roots in Shefford, we are harnessing the potential of agricultural by-products to generate clean energy.
The project, fueled by a substantial investment of $27 million, is nestled on a farm steeped in history and recognized as a heritage site under the Cultural Heritage Act.
Our mission is to produce renewable natural gas from manure and other agricultural matter, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and creating a circular economy by returning valuable nutrients to the land in the form of superior organic fertilizers.

In Prodeval, we have a partner whose reputation in the biogas industry is both formidable and inspiring. Established in 1990, Prodeval has revolutionized the way we think about and utilize organic waste.
With Sébastien Paolozzi at the helm, this French bioenergy titan has made significant strides in reducing dependency on fossil fuels by converting biogas into biomethane, achieving an impressive annual reduction of 741,000 tonnes in CO2 emissions.
Prodeval stands tall as a global entity, because of their state-of-the-art VALOPUR technology, leveraging EVONIK SEPURAN® membranes for biogas upgrading, has set a global benchmark with efficiency rates surpassing 99.5%.
